Method

  • Combine all the ingredients in a bowl. 
  • Cover the bowl and leave the dough to proof for one hour.
  • Moisten your hands in a bowl of water and shape a fistful of dough into a round and place in the middle of a preheated pan.
  • Flatten the dough, making indentations with your fingers.
  • Cover with a lid and cook on medium heat for 3 minutes.
  • Flip and cook uncovered for another minute.

  • 200 g wholemeal flour
  • 3 tbsp white sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 sachet of dried yeast
  • 450 ml water
