Healthy tips

Clinical nutritionist Insaf Zerouga gives this advice to Selam and Fanuel:

  • Selam makes the food from scratch with good ingredients, which is very good.
  • It is also good to use vegetables such as onions and tomatoes, eggs which are full of proteins, and lean meat from chicken rather than red meat.
  • Avoid adding a lot of butter or other fat to the dishes, and use vegetable oils such as olive oil or rapeseed oil instead of butter for cooking.
  • Try using wholemeal flour when you make injera, as it is more filling and is better for your health.
